Currently a law student at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, Cullen Archer, MD, is also a physician who operates a private medical practice in Tooele, Utah. Despite the demands of his practice, he has distinguished himself at law school, earning the Outstanding Achievement Award in Legal Methods in 2012. Dr. Cullen Archer earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Texas (UT) Health Science Center and served as chief resident during his residency in obstetrics & gynecology.
After completing his residency, Dr. Archer served as an assistant professor of obstetrics & gynecology at the UT Health Science Center. In addition to teaching medical students and OB/GYN residents, he authored two chapters of the book Essential Emergency Medicine for the Healthcare Provider, one on hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and the other on ectopic pregnancy. After teaching for two years, Dr. Cullen Archer began practicing medicine, first in Texas and now in Utah.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing, collecting antique books, and playing piano.
